Blend of wines from different vintages, most of the current vintage, with the addition of small amounts of wine from previous cultures and a small but significant dose of reserve wine (5-10%) which ensures a link with the whole of reserve wines kept in Bollinger cellars, while preserving the aging and the characteristics of each vineyard separately.
The main characteristic of Bollinger is that after aging in small reused barrels, the wines are stored in Magnums along the corridors of the chalk galleries of the mountain of AY. Then, once ready, they are assembled and put into their final livery.
