Château PATRIS is located on the southern slope of the slopes of Saint-Emilion, in the extension of Château Angelus.
It comprises nearly 9 hectares planted mainly with 80% Merlot then Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Franc (10%). The association of these three grape varieties gives the wine a remarkable finesse and a suppleness much appreciated by consumers.
The vinification combines tradition and modernity, making the most of the potential offered by the vintages.
Michel and Geneviève QUERRE and their team seek to produce a deep Saint-Emilion, with a velvety texture but well structured. The use of new barrels always ensures that the fruit is respected: 60% of the aging takes place in new barrels, which are entirely renewed each year for the first wine.
