Since 1887, the Tessari family has been dedicated to growing vines in the Soave region, the oldest production region for white wine in Italy. The Soave Classica region is a limited area with a unique soil and microclimate, located 296 meters above sea level. The twelve hectare estate is located in two micro areas with unique and inimitable characteristics, those of Fitta and Castellaro.
It is the best vintage of the house, the epitome of their production. It is nothing less than a Soave 1er Cru. An impression of harmony, elegance and complexity emanates from this wine.
Volcanic soil. The name Monte Carbonare which could translate to Mountain of carbon or coal comes from the fact that the volcanic soil is black as coal there. Manual harvest. Aging for 15 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks followed by 6 months in the bottle before the sale. No malolactic fermentation.
The wine is straw yellow in color with brilliant reflections, on the palate it is fruity and slightly mineral, a note of aromatic herbs, almond and lively acidity. The finish is dry and very persistent.
It goes well with delicate fish dishes and vegetables. Excellent with risotto with truffles.
