The estate once belonged to Baroness Arthur de Brezets. It was in 1924 that the Escure family bought it out. It is located at the bottom of the hills of Saint-Emilion and produces wines of the appellation of the same name.
The GRAND PEY LESCOURS castle which covers 25.60 ha is located at the foot of the hills of Saint-Emilion. Planted with typical grape varieties from Saint-Emilion: 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon its soil is clay-limestone. Its structure also allows good aging.
This wine is fine and supple on the palate. It can accompany meats such as lamb, red meats, veal.
