Historical traces show us a presence of the Barde family in 1450 in the region. They now own Château Le Raz and a 60 hectare wine estate - 32 in red, 28 in white - located between Bergerac and Saint-Emilion. For red, Merlot dominates at 60%, accompanied by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
With its modern, spacious and air-conditioned winery, Château le Raz is one of the flagship estates of the Bergerac appellation. The two floors of the building allow work by gravity, which favors the production of elegant and fine wines. The reputation of the château is such that its bottles are found in more than 20 countries abroad.
This wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as white meat for example.
