Cheval Quancard's Entre-Deux-Mers wines are located between the Garonne and Dordogne, a region made up of a predominantly clay-limestone plateau. The most important grape variety in Entre-deux-mers wines is sauvignon, which gives the wines a particular aroma, which is much appreciated in young wines. A great Cuvée de Cheval Quancard made from grapes selected on the plot and vinified in oak barrels (two-thirds renewed each year) for 6 months. The first bottles are available in May, following the harvest. The emphasis is on Sauvignon (70%), Sémillon (20%) and Muscadelle (10%).
