Paul Ricard, student of Fine Arts, was 23 when he created the famous recipe for pastis from Marseille. For more than a year, he experimented with many formulas.
In 1932, the original recipe for Ricard pastis was born! Paul Ricard gives it its name: "Ricard, Pastis de Marseille".
The quality and freshness of its aperitif are the fruit of a clever mixture of anise, licorice and aromatic plants chosen with particular care. The original secretly kept recipe is at the origin of the legend of this unique aperitif.
