The wine takes its name from the Villa Bianchi farm, nestled in the heart of the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, which the Bianchi family used to vinify grapes from the surrounding vineyards.
Today, Villa Bianchi strives to express all the typical characteristics of Verdicchio highlighting the aromatic notes, freshness and elegance. All done by carefully selecting the grapes and using winemaking techniques to preserve the aromatic character inherent in the variety.
The vineyards between six and thirty years old, located between 150 and 300 meters above sea level, are exposed to the southwest. Harvesting is done by hand. The ripening is monitored daily in order to determine the exact date of the harvest (during September), in particular with the aim of preserving the good acid profile, the basis of the freshness of this wine. Ideal tasting temperature: 8-10 ° C.
This wine goes well with fish and shellfish.
